Corrections Policy
How OCXLY Digital Media House handles mistakes: what counts as a correction, how quickly we act, and the public log of every correction we have made.

Our approach
Getting things right matters more than looking right. When we publish an error we fix it quickly, say what was wrong and what changed, and keep a public record. We would rather be corrected by a reader than let a mistake stand.
What we correct
- Corrections fix factual errors: names, figures, dates, attributions, descriptions of how something works.
- Clarifications address wording that was accurate but could mislead.
- Updates add material developments to a story after publication.
Typos and formatting fixes that do not change meaning are made without a note.
How a correction appears
The story is corrected in place. A dated note at the end of the story explains what was changed and why. The "Updated" date shown in the byline changes. Video and audio that cannot be re-edited get a correction note on the episode page and, where possible, in the description on the hosting platform. The correction is added to the log below.
Timing
Confirmed factual errors are corrected as soon as they are verified, normally the same working day. If verification takes longer, we add a note that a claim is under review.
Requesting a correction
Email hello@ocxly.com or use the contact form and choose "Correction". Include the story URL, the passage in question and what you believe is accurate, with sources if you have them. We acknowledge every request and tell you the outcome.
